Our resident dentist, Dr Dan, won Best Young Dentist in Wales and Best Dentist of South Wales and England in 2013. He’s also the leading provider of Six Months Smiles in Wales (and one of the first dentists here to practice this method) and is infamous for his services to straight smiles.

The recent news has been rife with reports of poor dental health in children in Wales. Dr Dan runs an annual free event to encourage our local children to practice good oral hygiene as we believe in preventative measures. Dr Dan understands it’s not such an exciting subject to learn about so our dentists dressed up as super heroes for the sake of our future generation’s smiles!
On a local level we’ve worked with Welsh cancer charity Tenovus and welcomed staff into the practice to run a health awareness day to ensure we stay in tip top shape for our clients! We were also delighted to be the main sponsor for 2017’s Ladies Lunch raising awareness of breast cancer and bidding on some fabulous Welsh products whilst enjoying a lovely lunch supporting our new friends at Tenovus.
We’ve also been working with Buy One Give One, a global charity aiming to make positive impacts across the world as a collaborative effort. Bamboo Dental have pledged to give access to clean drinking water for a Malawian resident for an entire year whenever a patient chooses us for their treatment. We are huge advocates of this concept as it enables us to help others around the world by doing the dentistry that we work hard to perform every day.
B1G1 is a social enterprise and non-profit organization with a mission to create a world full of giving. For every patient who finishes treatment with Bamboo Dental, we provide fresh drinking water to a Malawan in need and the patient is given a certificate to show how they helped.
